When it comes to heartbreak, people will experience it emotionally and psychologically first before the healing process. A doomed heart takes time to rebuild and recondition, just like what Alex Brown and Hannah Foss were going through. They both came from a traumatic experience that made their hearts intensely broken.

Hannah felt worthless because of her past relationship, which caused her heart to no affection. Meanwhile, Alex thinks of himself as a joke because the woman he loves cheated on him, and he took his revenge against all the women he met.
